SUZANNE COSMO

Suzanne Cosmo is an incarcerated artist who has spent more than 20 years in prison. Through painting, she explores emotion, symbolism, and personal reflection, working primarily in acrylic and mixed media on canvas.

IN THIS COLLECTION:

  • Mermaid: 16x20 acrylic on canvas

  • A Bird's Eye View: 8x10 acrylic on canvas board featuring a bird and woman. Suzanne notes that although she is terrified of birds, creating this piece was therapeutic for her.

  • And I Am the Monster!: approximately 15x7 mixed media/acrylic on canvas

Suzanne is grateful for the opportunity to share her artwork beyond prison walls. She hopes her work finds a place in the exhibit and connects with others through honest expression.
